Branding and Creative Direction for Jordanian Businesses

Branding here means a working system, not a logo file. We define the positioning, build the visual and verbal language in Arabic and English, and hand over guidelines and templates your team can use daily. A full identity project usually takes six to ten weeks from first workshop to final handover.

We turn the business idea into a visual and verbal system that can guide design, photography, campaigns and everyday communication.

What we can deliver

What is inside an identity project

  1. 01

    Brand positioning and creative direction

A short written statement of who the brand is for, what it promises and how it differs. Everything visual is judged against this document, which is what stops design decisions turning into taste arguments.

  2. 02

    Logo and visual identity system

Primary and secondary logo forms, clear space and minimum sizes, colour palette with accessible contrast values, and a type system that works in both Arabic and Latin script.

  3. 03

    Campaign concepts and art direction

The look and the idea behind a launch or seasonal campaign, worked through as key visuals rather than described in a slide.

  4. 04

    Brand guidelines and templates

A practical PDF guideline plus editable templates for social posts, presentations, documents and signage, so the system survives contact with everyday use.

  5. 05

    Copy direction and launch communication

Tone of voice with real examples in both languages, plus the announcement copy for the rebrand itself.

Arabic and Latin type in one system

Most identity work in the region fails at the same point: the logo is designed in English, the Arabic is added afterwards, and the two never look like they belong to the same brand. Arabic letterforms have different weight distribution, different baselines and different rhythm, so a system that treats the Arabic as a translation of the Latin will always look slightly wrong to an Arabic reader.

We design both scripts as first-class parts of the same system. That means choosing type families with genuine Arabic cuts, setting separate line heights, and testing headlines in both languages at the same sizes before the system is signed off.

When a rebrand is the wrong answer

We say no to rebrands more often than clients expect. These are the cases where the money is better spent elsewhere.

  • The brand is recognised and trusted but the marketing is inconsistent. That is a guidelines and production problem, not an identity problem.
  • Sales are down because of price or distribution. A new logo will not move either.
  • The team simply wants something fresher. Fatigue inside a company usually arrives years before the audience notices anything.
  • A launch is six weeks away. A rushed identity locks in decisions you will pay to undo.

Process

From positioning workshop to handover

The exact scope changes with the project, but the thinking stays focused and transparent.

01

Clarify the brand, audience and point of view

A workshop with the decision makers, a look at the competitors people actually compare you to, and a written positioning statement everyone signs off before any design starts.

02

Build the visual and verbal language

Two or three distinct directions, presented as real applications rather than as a logo on a white page, then one direction chosen and developed properly.

03

Apply, test and hand over

The system is tested on the hardest real cases - a small app icon, an Arabic headline, a printed sign - then documented and handed over with the source files.

What determines the price

Two projects with the same name can differ several times over in cost. These are the variables that actually move the number, so you can judge any quote you receive - ours or anyone else's.

  • Whether it is a full identity system or a refresh of a logo that already works.
  • Whether Arabic and Latin scripts are both designed, which is roughly a third more work than one script.
  • How many applications and templates are delivered - social, presentations, documents, signage, packaging.
  • How many decision makers approve, because rounds are the real cost driver.

Send us the scope and you get a written quote with a fixed figure, usually within one working day. The number does not change unless the scope changes in writing.

Common questions about rebranding

How much does a brand identity cost in Jordan?

The range is wide because the scope is. A logo refresh with a small palette and two templates is a different project from a full system with Arabic and Latin type, campaign direction and a guideline document. We quote against a written scope so the number does not move mid-project.

How long does a rebrand take?

Six to ten weeks for a full identity, assuming feedback arrives within three working days at each stage. The single biggest cause of delay is approval by committee - a project with one decision maker moves roughly twice as fast.

Do we own the logo and the source files?

Yes. Full ownership of the final identity, including editable source files, transfers to you on final payment. Fonts are the exception: those are licensed from their foundries and the licence has to be in your name.

Can you work with our existing logo instead of replacing it?

Often that is the right call. Many brands need a working system around a logo that is already recognised - colour, type, layout, templates - rather than a new mark. We will say so if that is what we see.

Will the identity work in Arabic as well as English?

Both scripts are designed together rather than one being adapted from the other. Arabic headlines, Arabic logo lock-ups and Arabic-first layouts are tested before the system is signed off.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to two or three people who can speak for the business, whatever brand material exists today, and honesty about what has not been working. The workshop does the rest.
